QUALITY MEASUREMENT
SKANS has an independent quality assurance department which ensures the quality of the education, teaching, management and student performance. Following are the typical qualitative methods that are used to measure the quality among other qualitative methods and observations.

1) Submission of Lecture plan by every Teacher
This important step has been taken by SKANS to regulate the deliverance of the course contents on day to day basis, to ensure that the course is completed in time and the lectures are delivered sequentially to the students. The students are allowed to have the copy of the Lecture Plan, so that the students are encouraged to do some pre lecture study at home for better understanding of the next day lecture.

2) Submission of 15 days Pro forma

This pro-forma has three Main Heads, namely
A) Participation of the student in the class.
B) Attitude of the student in the class.
C) Attendance of the student in the class
Each Main Head has further been divided in to three Sub Heads namely
A) Good
B) Satisfactory
C) Un satisfactory

If there is unsatisfactory Participation, Attitude or Attendance of the individual student, it becomes a challenge for the Teacher, Coordinator and the Director to bring up the concerned student towards satisfactory and good position during the session. The report of the teachers on this Pro-forma activates the coordinators for remedial action which initially results in individual counselling or in extreme case report to the parents on special letters prepared for the purpose. This pro-forma if provided by the teachers regularly after 15 days, gives a clear picture of the performance/progress of the student in the class, at any particular time.
3) Conduct of Tests and Reports to the Parents
It is made mandatory for all the teachers to conduct scheduled and unscheduled tests under quality measurement scheme. Regular schedules for tests are prepared before the start of the session and handed over to the teachers concerned. The results of the tests so received back from the teachers are then sent to the parents at intervals.
4) Home Assignments
As per the requirement of ACCA, we have started giving home assignments to the students at least once in two months. The assignment has to be prepared by the student at home within a specific period, say one week, as per the direction of the teacher. The assignments are evaluated, marked and discussed with the students in the class for better understanding. Thus SKANS strives to make students fruitfully busy at their homes as well.

RESULT
SKANS has always been on higher percentage for its ACCA in papers result than the Global average. And for some of the papers it has got 100 percent result.

FACULTY AND STAFF
SKANS has the largest number of permanent faculty and management staff than any other accountancy institute in Punjab. The staff is highly qualified, professional and capable and is selected on the basis of quality measurement process to assess the employee’s qualification, presentation and communication skills, attitude and potential etc.
