A true SETH company with all the VIPs (born off influential people by mistake) getting all the raises, cars, perks etc. etc. The HR code (or any other code for tht matter) applies only on the less priviliged (the people who work their a**es off to make LMKR where ever it is). All TC doers of the VP get to do all they want any time they want. Absolutely NO growth!! Dead Grounds!! HR/Accounts/Admin are the worst Depts. I've ever had to deal with in the past 3 companies I've worked for! To top that you need to either run off because of the dim-witted senseless notice period OR Buy the comapny that you want to join next so they agree to wait for you for 3 MONTHS !!! Aaaaaargghh !!! Join Punjab Police instead !!

Come on, I mean really yaar why is all you saying that things when you know the true is not so good. I work in LMKR and I know that the peoples dont have a say and the mangement doesnt care the small bit. The unqualified peoples who TC can LPC, all they get is money, car, bonus and title while the quiet hardwork get nothing and get a 2 year bond and 3 month policy so no other company think to hire you. If you get interview with other company then the HR team help to make problems for you and also get the other company to say no. This is evil and not like a good company to the employees. In LMKR they give you a Danda where it is Thanda.

LMKR is the most stable IT company in terms of Resources, Clients and financially. I got accepted in a University and I was given Relaxation in the 3 months of Notice period after my resignation as I had to leave early. Don’t have to do late sittings if not required, and no problem in taking casual/sick leaves (LGC). Company follow a Business process for all office matters Internal and External which is excellent. Management is Business Minded, and they know how to bring new Business to the company, so LMKR is here to stay. Team environment is excellent (LGC), and it really depends on the Manager what kind of culture(friendly) he wants to impose on the team. Problems are every where but it does not mean that the whole company is bad/useless and one should close his eyes. State of the art Facilities and it is well reputed and well known company in Pakistan. If you do your work quietly on time, and don’t get involve in politics, then it is a Good place to work. If you are very good in politics and you also are expressive, then it is the Best place to work. If you are unable to satisfy your client, then it is the worst place to work for you which is logical.

TC, politics, bad management, real pathetic HR ppl, real pathetic middle management. In my opinion owners wants to grow this company, but due to improper middle+some big names (who are there since ages) they are involved in useless micro management, pathetic policies. They are running an IT company like a factory at Gujranwala or faisalabad. Developers are like labor, poor managers always show every failure due to the developers. its a weird place to work in.

Well, the career growth for any person is dependent on his own efforts and interest, but i would rate LMKR very good in terms on career growth. It is excellent for LGC guys. For IT Professionals it depends on the nature of project, but i have seen many people become experts on dull projects even. Summary is that, it is a good place for self motivated persons, fresh grads to mid level career.

The basic problem of lmkr is bunny, she is the root cause of all the problems, because of her lack of trust on her own employees, she likes back-biting a lot, whenever you find her in cafe, you'll see a person with her, giving her false reports, just to save his own job, because he doesn't know how to work. All of these guys are basically manager, and they make incompetent persons their team leads. So problem from VP, to blue eyed managers, and to blue eyed Team Leads. Only lowest creatures like developers, engineers are working and feeding all these also. a very similar situation like pakistan... so they'll never grow, they are still a small house company, saith culture, conspiricies, flirts and smoking offcourse. The president should take care about his employees who are like his kids, bcz they are feeding him and earning livelihood for them also, and the top management is enjoying and putting blue eyed incompetent people to ride on their heads. worst example is when any engineer/developer resigns he is deprived off his final settlements also, thus these big people try to save few hundred thousand rupees also, to purchase latest model of BMW. khush raho :)

Being an X employee of LMKR,, I prase my decision to join LMKR 2 years back because it is the most renouned company in Pakistan and even here in Germany, paki students from different cities talk about LMKR. Oh yes u can leave easily on a happy note and nice farewell, but don't expect your money back if you have any dues left, they simply refuse by telling false stories. I even didn't get my provident fund back even after completing my notice period. Really hard to believe, but their HR is the most non professional and pathetic HR in whole world. ppl like ahmed masood can never understand how important could be that 'small' cheque for some one. My best wishes for LMKR and Bunny and all bad wishes for HR. They dont deserve their positions,they should all be kicked out. They have no rules, no policies just lies, tc, false promises and a few good suites and ties. The next bad lot is the managers. They all are impotent. This company is a real shit. In this company there is no criteria for increments. Some people with having no apparent reason are getting big salaries and some are getting very less salaries for doing the same work. Nobody knows the reason behind this. So if you are in the big salary group then it is OK but if you are on the other side then things are really very bad for you. Outside the company, people will think that you are not performing good and you are weak technically thats why you are not getting good salary. people will criticise you a lot due to that and you would be failed to convince them that you are notwhat they perceive. So, no one should come to this company as you would be in a very tense environment. Your designation would be the same as you joined the company because there are no new business comming to the company so no new senior level posts are created. This company is all about three projects. One is DGPC project, second is LGC and the third is BP project. It is actually not a company but actually a combination of few projects. The day these projects were not renewed, the same day this company would collapse. Thats why when the contract renewal of these projects come, all the people in the company start panic and stress. So I would suggest all the fresh graduates, not to come here. specially, the technical guys as the HR of this company is really a shit. These HR shits will rule you as the HR depatment is the real force in that company. This department was previously headed by the owner's wife, so it was made powerful in those days. it is still enjoying the same power. Owners rule poor technical guys by using HR depatment. It is same like the dictators in pakistan used ISI to rule the people of Pakistan. And at the end, I just hate this slogan which is the pet slogan of the top management that we are one family. We are not one family because in family there are no exploitations. They are just exploiting us because we can not switch to any good place as there is recession. I dont know why people at top dont know the need of others. The owners say that there is recession in the world but when common people like me see them in 7 series, it really thinks me a lot.

HR is only 2 create problems when employees leave d company else they don’t give a shit even if the employees suffering because of no increments etc. Analyzing the turnover rate of technical employees ,a day will come when only bunny n her impotent managers will b left in d company n d general service staff wil do programming for them. LMKR is like prison of bunny where HR dept is full of SHOs who just keep a track of check-in n check-out of all employees n other unfriendly company policies and force every1 to follow d rules however these rules r not meant 2 be followed by HR dept itself, Waooooo what an equality policy this company follows. People in HR dept come late everyday then complete their 8 working hrs by playing table tennis after 6PM. They take long lunch breaks n u can find them all d time in café smoking n there is no check on them, is it because ppl in HR dept are the relatives of bunny or d ppl from high profile backgrounds. Ur performance is not calculated by your work but by your timings or if u cannot follow d timings than either u should b able 2 play table tennis with HR or have a smoke with them n than u will come in limelight automatically. Bunny rules d mgt of LMKR on d basis of which she makes false promises with the employees through d HR dept and thinks d employees r stupid n would fail 2 understand that she is exploiting employees through this strategy. HR dept just have good suits, ties n not 2 forget BIG CARS so they wont understand how difficult it is in current situation 2 live while they give explanations when asked for increments or career progression. These dummies r being programmed by Bunny, clever move bunny. Mgt give justification of no increments n at d same time hiring new employees on high salary packages. Employees have not been given salary increments for d last 2 yrs. Company is earning in dollars n give salaries in rupees n if u calculate increase in dollar price u will see they are making profits n that’s why they drive BMW n Range Rover??? We r not blind…..I don’t know if d mgt will read this or not but at d end I would say if u keep ur employees happy d numbers would keep on raising but d prob with u ppl is that u r only concentrating on numbers n not on employees who r d main asset of this company….No doubt u r not bound 2 b answerable 2 employees but Allah Almighty is watching, u would b answerable to Him on the day of judgment, WAKE UP!!!!!

Three months notice period is against the labor law of pakistan and is against the fundamental rights of a human being (after all its not a prison) and can be blown off in any court of law even if it is duely signed by the employee. It is in the history of LMKR that they always promote some stupid new policies regarding increments. Last year the employees came to know about a starnge and exciting so called "Deferred bonus" Policy. They created such a hype that each employee will get deferred bonus from April 09 till Jan 10, but interestingly, how its possible kay bunny jo bolay wahi ho (specially for increments):-P History remained the same and no deferred bonus given to the innocent LMKR family. Most of the senior resources have left LMKR or planning to switch. No day is passed without a resign. Almost all the people who have not left LMKR so far are in deep stress and looking for any good oppurtunity. The owner on new years mailed all employees that he has paid off 5 million dollors loan in 2009 and it was his great achievment. Yes it was achievment by not giving any incentive to you employees and using it to pay the bank loan.Well done, but one thing should be remembered that company is not built from finances but from the competent people who work for it. LMKR is not a company but a political party where you can go to the top position by saying Yes bunny and doing lot of politics with your fellow people. After leaving LMKR, one can easily go to PML or PPP:)

LMKR managment promised to give deferred bonus to its resources at the end of jan 2010. But as usual by their practice they denied. They are totally exploiting their resources upto the extent they can. No increment, No bonus, No future where-ever you are that's LMKR family

A blog posted by a very smart and courageous EMPLOYEE on the Alumni Portal of LMKR: "Earlier on in 2008, one of our alumni members started a website called pingmycompany.com that was directed towards empowering employees to share experiences/ideas of their respective companies .The concept was good but the site ended up becoming a gossip corner. Was it a success or not? In my opinion, the site did achieve its main goal - that was to make employees speak up, but was it beneficial to either ( company or employee ) that is a separate issue. In marketing terms, it is said that controversy sells,so providing such platforms does help the website generate traffic, but, the question that arises here is, does this traffic do good to the company or is a weakness in disguise? I believe in times to come platforms like this will play a pivotal role in decision making, may it be on the employers end to tweak its policies or on the employees end to join, leave or stay in the company! In the end a successful company is one that can leverage from such platforms and convert the negative energy into positive. The purpose of this discussion is to see how we perceive such platforms. Quiet true, there interview system is bogus. I applied once for post of Java, they took a test of lotus from us. really stupid of them, the HR was so dumb that they did called me for second interview, but when i reached there, inspite i was called, they did not knew. bakwaas company hai.

When i joined LMKR as a fresh graduate, i was warned by some people not to join it as it is run by pathetic managers. The employees are no doubt very smart but they are managed by poor managers. But i didn't listen to these things and accepted the offer. Now i'm regretting my decision. This place is full of politics, poor managers. No career growth, no fair package. All our hardwork is utilized by BUNNY n Co in driving BMW. My advice to all the people specially to fresh grads will be to stay away from this company. Time is very precious do not waste it by coming here.

1-Nominate qualified persons as managers, only see professional qualities whilie nominating managers, instead of 'other' qualities. 2-give respect to real earners, i.e. software engineers/geological engineers/technical people from all departments. 3-revise salary procedures.
