Bad things about F3.
1) No Trust on any one. Even Director Porjects are not trusted. :)
2) F3 gives millions euros on traveling, subscription, salaries, but cann't spend on employee skill improvement.
3) F3 has no such data which is ever helpful for any one still consious about data security. :)
4) NO process for software development.
5) Most of the project get delayed because of the Communication Gap between the customer and development team .
Reason :There is no true Business Analyst.
6) Extensive coding is considered as the solution to all problems.
These all comments are just for the betterment of F3. No personal issuse is discussed.

The worst thing is/was the timing. Although I am not that punctual, but I won't believe in coming in time and going out in time just like a school kid. in IT work should be completed in time, if the developer is delivering at appropraite time, then there is no need of a guard asking y u came 15 min late and all that stuff. It's been so long that I have left F3 may be that thing have changed....

Though little spoiled in my current workplace I would try to be fair in my comments. Software development job shouldn't be strictly timed. Little more trust in employees for completing their allocated working hours would help the company in increasing productivity and efficiency.Lack of Software design and development methodologies. New requirements and features been asked and implemented overnight. No employee training and skill enhancement programs. Congested work place. No visitor room. Even old employees had to stand on the road to meet or greet someone.

Good Things about F3:
1) Variety of projects to work on covering many different technologies.
2) Co-workers are friendly.
3) Bi-annaul and good increments. (Though I didnot get a single incrment during my 9 months' stay but I know this from other people).
There are some good learning oppurtunies for workers but some of the company's foolishness doesnot let people to be productive. (I'll be explaining this thing in detail in my my post in the negative section).

Bad Things about F3:
1) Senior management doesnot trust you at any matter, You are monitored all the time from Peon -> Security Graud ->...........-> CEO.
2) Company is strictly customer and money centric. Hell with employees' satisfaction. (Worth to mention: Giving good salaries and increment is not what you call EMPLOYEE SATISFACTION)
3) 80% of websites in the world are blocked due to secuirty reasons because F3 is data-center of CIA, ISI, FBI and RAW :). (Senior Management should know that they have employed Engineers who are developing communication systems...............
4) Company's assets are thought to be its clients, data, products, computers and furniture. Management should know that PEOPLE are the REAL ASSET who have brought the company to this point. What F3 can do without human resource it has?
a) Can its computers themselves fulfill demands of its clients?
b) Can its furniture generate its revenue?
c) Can its CEO abuse anyone if employees are not there?
No to All!!!
5) Stupid and Fake deadlines!!! In 9 moths' stay I never seen a single project delivered on time. Reason was not that people were not working but the real reason was that company has no process to measure the work and efforts to be put on the project. No project plan, no design but just start typing on the keyboard, complete 7 months work in 1 month and have your a** kicked every minute.
6) Company would generate millions os Euros as its revenue but if it has to be paid RS. 100 extra in form of utility bills, a tention will be created thoughout the company and work environment would be seriously destroyed.
All these points and those which are not mentioned should not be interpreted negatively. I hope F3's senior most management should understand that they are developing software but doesnot have 5 mesons, building a house in 30 days. Software development is an engineering and people doing this work are also engineers, they not only work for money but also they need productive environment, creating thinking.
Not going into much details.

Despite the inherant problem with F3 due to its managerial structure there are good aspect as well.
Management tries to familiar with the employees
Management listen to peoples and try to help them
The vision for growth of employess and organizational goals are although forced by different factors but atleast they have goal and vision (now).
As being a product base companey Peoples alway's have work with continuous growing learning curve.
Salaries are accroding to market
Increment rate is good
A very good place for new comers to learn the things. (we can call it F3 School Systems)
More opportunity to jouinor level developer to implement his/her own wishes during the development
F3 or FFF unique name like an aeroplane :D
Admin officer is alway's an X-army JCO, so having good time pass during Cigrate's
Owned office building (HOME) so you can meet the peoples whenever you want to :)

1) Company missing a HR dept, serving for betterment of employees not another enforcement agency.
2) Decisions and policy making should not done by single person.
3) Company is now a mature software company so it seriously needs a professional software development culture by removing extra monitoring checks.
4) Need software development process, companies going on CMMi 1-5 but F3 stands where ?????

I worked in F3 for almost 3 years in development and then 1.5 years as a Business Analyst in Dublin headquarter.
I started my professional development career with F3 and learnd a lot from the company.
Of course ther are issues especially the company is new and still trying to establish itself by generating revenue.
As everybody (including ex-employees) aware that a lot of improvements have been made into the policies of the company.
Dr Javad wants to do a lot of things but looking for appropriate management team to share the responsibilities with. He got very selective people in his management team like Tahir Anwar, Saeed sb..
Regarding blocking internet content, its true not to block everything but its worth to block some of the sites and programs especially messengers in a profesional environment.
I am working with an Internatinal level company where you have Gym, Snooker, Entertainment Rooms, Exhibitions, Restaurants and shops inside the buildings, but still all emailing sites, socila networking sites and all chating messengers are blocked.
Good thing is that there is a small net cafe point where you can go and check your emails etc.but you are not allowed to spend more than 15 minutes on a PC.
So the site blocking policy is everywhere except in Dublin office:)
F3 environment is really friendly, and i made a lot of good friends and have good memories attached with F3.
I luckly got a chance to have personal coaching from Dr Javad and i am really thankful to him for all this.

Every company is not perfect as everywhere there are issues.
Dr Javad wants to do a lot of things but looking for appropriate management team to share the responsibilities with. He got very selective people in his management team like Tahir Anwar, Saeed sb.
But f3 needs management who is dare to mention any point or thing which is not in favour of any project and particulalry to F3.
Company's system is currently revolving around one person and its a burden on that person as well. So better a well defined systematic structure in place so the compoany could fly very smoothly.
Company should give self respect and trust to its employees. Their should be democracy in the company:)
Employer of the year should be given vouchers for certification exams.
Company Alhamdullilah making progresss and better if the system makes its place by now.
A lot of misunderstandings, missing deadlines etc happens due to lack of proper communications and both parties are responsible for that.
These are my personal views and could be wrong but in any case i would wish good luck to this company.
