Both of the founders just suck. They speak a lot, say a lot, commit and promise a lot but do nothing except bullshit. They have a very strong background of playing guitars and tabla and this is what they should do. They have done nothing since they started off and because of their failure, the whole company and all employees suffer. They are sitting in a 20 by 30 office with small cubicles. They have highly demotivated, disappointed and dissatisfied workforce and every single employee is searching for a job. Here one comes and here they go! Don't ruin your career by joining them!

They hire you as a java developer and when you join them they tell you that for some reason java project is on hold and then they ask you to work in other technologies that you don't even know. At the same time they expect from you that you will become a guru of those technologies in just few hours and if you can't finish something they abuse you. What kinda sick ppl r they. They think engineering is just like selling ice creams on a cycle. They hire you as a donkey rather than an engineer. They dont know anything about engineering and the principals are very non technical, uneducated and indisciplined kind of ppl. Both Amir Choudhary and Shehzad Khokhar are sick ppl. They will hire you as .Net developer. And at your first day of joining they will give you the task of PHP what they have on hold from last 6 months as their PHP developer was unable to deliver.Then right after 8 hrs they will ask about the progress and will tell you that tomorrow is our external deadline.

If you want to join them plz learn the sales 101 lesson before time. Both principals have sales background and they only know how to sell usually with huge lies. They sell the entire company to the customer and actually less than half of them work with the customer. How can they accomplish their milestones when they get work of 20 ppl and they ask 4 ppl to do it :). Also, there is a famous shahid faiz story about them which they told to their customer laker software. The EnterpriseDB knows the story :). What a bunch of losers. It was the most unprofessional interview i ever had. The guy was taking the interview for the position of delivery manager and he had no clue what he wanted to ask me. He was trying to behave as if he was god knows what. It was a disappointing, even if they call me for a second interview i wont turn up.

I have heard their technical projects are not being managed by the sales team :D. They have a sales manager who did nothing but bullshit since the day he joined them but again he is the most favorite employee of digident. Why? since he knows how to do bullshit :D. Bullshit is very much liked by them and the ones who dont know how to do bullshit must not join them. This bullshit master is trying to manage their technical projects also whereas he and his team could not do anything in sales for which they were hired. And yes, he got 100% increment also for his outstanding bullshitting performance over the last year! I was called for an interview for a senior position...I gave an HR interview and also an interview over video conference....Before visiting their office, I did read the posts here and was very hesitant as to whether I should visit them or not...but I did go for an interview coz there wasnt any harm.....
I found the interviewing really different!! they didnt ask much about my technical knowledge but they spoke alot about decision making and how to take challenges head on...the questions were simple but they were evaluating my aptitude rather than my technical knowledge...
I was thoroughly impressed coz it appeared they knew what they were talking about...but yes, i agree they do interviews differently..but theyre very sharp people, at least that much i judged...both my interviews were very intense and interesting...

This company is Resource Outsourcing company only, not a software house and they are like RentACoder.com. Any auditor will audit them as RentACoder.the issue is not with Shahzad and Amir.the basic issue is their Business Model which is very much prone to Risks.Shahzad and Amir are very professioanl guys and they do everything to minimize Risk and provide quality of services, but in RentACoder type companies, coders are either working happily on smaller tasks...or otherwise they have to be jack of all "Proj manager,client communication manager, requirements engineer, applicatoin architect,coder(jack of all technologies in the world),tester(QA),implementer,trainer(for new resources), Client Retainer" with assurance tht u can do all tht work alone within a timeframe initially set for more resources.this is true th Shahzad knows how to communicate, but unfortunately he knows only this.He deems tht conducting Requirements Analysis Phase and asking questions/domain-problem with client shows lack of efficiency and knowldge so by pass this phase and work with your own thoughts.in such companis with this business model, u will always find those ppl on top who r in HR,who are good at communication(no matter worst in technical and planning) skills.such companies will always hire u for different position and show u different for customer facing.this is becoz they get money on monthly basis for their provided human resource from client.so guys once u reallize their bsuiness model and the over-all rating on this buines model and the root causes of their failures and shorter time span, ur soul will be in peace.

Hiring you as a java developer and assessing your performance as an oracle DBA is a great way to assess someone! It only happens at Digident :). If you don't have money to hire right ppl for the right job, then why don't you go and do something else? And then you say that you want to give quality jobs to ppl in pakistan. I heard that Aamer Choudhary's job was to make sure company is stable and financially strong. Looks like he has failed doing his job. He should have been the first one to resign from the post of CEO rather than firing so many people on just one day notice and not even giving them salaries. Be realistic you both. You had so many excellent resources around you that you lost because of your nonsense. You promote your resources and take them from 30k to 100k even if they could not meet their goals and could not produce results for the entire year. But, they get promoted since they know how to make you fool :). If gossips could produce babies then both Aamer and Shahzad would be world record holders in producing babies since they are master in gossips and nonsense. You were advised earlier, IT is not your field you should go and play tabla.

Well well well where should I begin… oh I know lets start from a big MUBARIK!!!!! For those who don’t know Digident has been shut down in Pakistan! Isn’t that just hilarious? It’s so funny how Aamir and Shahzad talk about doing Pakistan a favor by bringing in job opportunities when in reality all their doing is messing up employees professional careers. I feel sorry for those ppl who left great companies such as LMKR and IBM to join a pathetic low life company such as DigiDent. Aamir performed Hajj and then visited Pakistan, when he came he talked about how Digident is growing and how we will expand and get a bigger office and more workforce. He even had the nerve to do a seminar at NUST with his big dreams on how Digident is a great place to work and we offer our employees AWESOME salary and growth opportunities… well sorry to bust your bubble but actions speak louder than words and getting SHUT down is a BIG enough slap on your wanna be face. Just because you preformed Hajj doesn’t make you mother Teresa !!!! What was the point of all that talk on Digident this and Digident that….as soon as he got back to US he laid everyone off. What is even more shocking is that he claims he’s been in US for God knows how long and is still Pakistani, my backside !!!!! If you loved Pakistan so much why are u living there hypocrite?
Lets move on to Shahzad, what a bloody coward. Chalo Aamir atleast had the decency to face the employees the company laid off BUT Shahzad hid behind his mama and papa :P. oh BTW his dad was just a theif, he would steal money from the company’s account and use it for personal use. Can you believe the man??? Wait I can actually… now we know where Shahzad gets his awesome traits from. His father didn’t do anything all day and he would come to the office drink chai and watch black n white songs on the company laptop and before leaving he would take money from the finance department. Anyway back to the topic…. It’s just so sad how Shahzad didn’t have the decency to face his employees or even be apologetic… learn some professional first and then run a company OR better learn to be a man first (perhaps that’s why his wife left him). I think the only person who was actually qualified besides the tech ppl was Ahsan. Everyone else esp Samer were free loaders. Let’s talk about Samer for a bit, hmmm where to begin? Well as most of you already know he was a big TC master, Aamir and Shahzad would run with the biscuit and Samer would chase after them. sad!!!! It’s so funny how everyone got laid off besides Samer… ever wonder why?
